Quenby Harlander P.A.-C was raised in Sacramento and Northern Idaho and moved to Ventura County to attend California Lutheran University. She graduated with honors from CLU in 2002, with a major in Biology and a minor in Psychology. During that period of study she decided to pursue a medical career as a Physician Assistant (P.A.-C). She therefore moved to New York to attend Wagner College/ Staten Island University Hospital’s Physician Assistant Program. She had always been interested in surgery, so she elected to spend extra time in surgical training and especially Orthopedic Surgery.

Quenby graduated from Wagner College/ SIUH with honors in 2004. She was certified by the National Committee for the Certification of Physician Assistants and then licensed by the state of California. Ventura County had worked its way into her heart and she returned to join Ventura Orthopedics in December 2004, and began working for Samuel Small, D.O., the group’s spine specialist.

She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants as well as the California Academy of Physician Assistants. Quenby lives in Camarillo with her husband and enjoys reading, travel, yoga and swimming.

Kari L. Odenath has lived in Ventura County most of her life. She is a graduate of Newbury Park High School and California Lutheran University and was on the volleyball team at both institutions. She graduated from CLU in 2002 with a major in Exercise Science and Sports Medicine. During her time at CLU she also worked as an athletic trainer for the track and women’s basketball teams, coached high school girl’s club volleyball and worked as a personal trainer at a local gym.

Because of her interests in athletics and medicine, Mrs. Odenath decided to pursue a career as a physician assistant. Mrs. Odenath received her training at the University of Southern California and gained further experience in orthopedics at Los Angeles County Hospital, a level I trauma center. During this time, she assisted the orthopedic doctors with emergency room evaluations, surgery, hospitalized patient care, and the evaluation and management of patients at the outpatient clinic.

After three years of study, Mrs. Odenath graduated from USC with her Master’s degree (Master of Physician Assistant Practice) in 2006. She was certified by the National Committee for the Certification of Physician Assistants after completing a comprehensive examination and was then licensed by the State of California.
